The felt ric-rac that I got two weekends ago on the Coastal Shop Hop is working out nicely for the dogwood blossoms..I was able to put a bunch of the dogwood blossoms on last Saturday at our Craft Day…need to do the other side of the tree..and it needs a few green leaves..each blossom is two sets of two ‘bumps’ of the ric-rac, with red Aquarelle crayon dabbed onto the white felt to make the pink color..then attached with crystal beads using lime green rayon thread…


It looks great. How did you deal with the edges of the ric rac, I can’t see edges in the photo, it looks great.
I cut off two sets of ‘bumps’ making two heart shapes..one of them I trimmed straight across at the middle, the other is tucked behind..the beads are pretty much right on the intersection of the two pieces.. I could photograph the intermediate steps, if you really want to see that part…
